The chatbot on steroids!
An AI interface that works

Hello everyone,
Thank you for tuning in once again!
Today, I’ve got two exciting news in the world of AI.
Matrix: The chatbot on steroids
The new copilot button
Have fun reading!
Matrix by Hebbia AI: The chatbot on steroids
The first thing I want to talk about an AI tool that sadly hasn’t been released yet. But when it does, I (and after reading this article you hopefully too) will use it immediately. It’s called Matrix by the company Hebbia AI.
On their website, there is this quote, which I think describes the problem that Matrix tries to solve perfectly: “AI was supposed to change the way we work. Instead, we got the world’s greatest chatbot.“
When ChatGPT was first released, everybody thought, that it would completely change the way we work. However, we soon realized that it has a lot of limitations when it comes to the complexity of tasks. This is where Matrix comes in. It is supposed to handle almost every task thrown at it with ease. Their promise is: “Any question, Any amount of data“. Chatbots like ChatGPT have upped their game, by being able to process PDFs, Images, Audio files, etc. But always just one file at a time. This is becoming a problem very quickly when it comes to handling bigger tasks.
This is an example that was shown in the introduction video of what Matrix would be able to do:
The prompt was “How are our investments performing?“ with a folder attached to it that has all the investment data in separate files. A regular Chatbot wouldn’t be able to do such a task. But for Matrix, this is no problem. Hebbia states: “It is time for AI that works where no question is too complex“.
I don’t want to create any false hopes here, because Matrix hasn’t been released yet, but if it does what we expect, then it will really change the scene of AI. The incredible part about the evolution of AI is, that this breakthrough will likely lead to even more. I mean companies like OpenAI don’t want to fall behind so they also have to come up with something new (and most likely better).

It is so exciting to see how fast AI is evolving. Insane Breakthroughs are literally popping out of nowhere. I’m excited to use Matrix when it releases and you probably are too.
Microsoft Announced a Copilot button
The next thing I want to share with you is more on the hardware side. Microsoft announced two new devices: The Surface Pro 10 for Business and the Surface Laptop 6 for Business. The funny thing is, that this is the first big change to Windows keyboards in 30 years. This looks something like this:

When pressing this key, you have immediate access to Microsoft’s Copilot AI to perform all sorts of tasks. For example, searching for an old email that your colleague sent you years ago or summarizing a text within seconds. This is supposed to make working with AI feel more effortless and intuitive.
That’s all for this week and thank you so much for reading.
I’ll see you next Friday!
